Apple’s Next Attraction
Senior Editor Steven Levy has interviewed Steve Jobs “at least a dozen times” since they first met in 1983, when Levy was writing for Rolling Stone and the Macintosh’s debut was still a year away. For this week’s issue, Levy joined Jobs once again for a peek at Apple’s G4 Cube (keyboard and mouse, above). “I’ve followed his career very closely,” says Levy, who wrote a book, “Insanely Great,” on the Macintosh’s development. “We’re both aware of that history.”
A Flair for Finance
Allan Sloan, NEWSWEEK’s Wall Street editor, studied English at Brooklyn College and never went to business school.
