Elliott was the fourth overall pick in the draft and has a four-year rookie contract worth $24.9 million, with a $16.3 million signing bonus. Jones was taken by the Bills in the fourth round of the draft, 135 picks after Elliott, and will have a rookie deal that pays him about $450,000 annually. While Jones probably doesn’t need the $5, it’s the principle of the matter and easy to see from where he’s coming.

Pay up, Zeke. You can afford it.
