So of course the Cougars won 35-24. Freshman Tanner Mangum threw a 35-yard touchdown pass to Mitchell Juergens, and Kai Nacua’s 50-yard interception return for a score sealed another dramatic win for BYU.

The Cougars improved to 2-0 and won in crazy fashion for the second straight week. Mangum threw a 42-yard Hail Mary to Mitch Mathews as time expired in a 33-28 win against Nebraska in Week 1.
