As Arizona celebrated its walk-off road win, Murray made his way to a field-level suite to share the moment with Cardinals fans in attendance. Things took a turn for the worst when a Raiders fan appeared to strike Murray in the face, causing the former No. 1 overall pick to pause out of apparent shock.
Footage of the incident, which was captured on video by Cameron Cox of 12News Arizona, has been used in an ongoing investigation by the Las Vegas Police. While Murray did not comment on the incident following the game, he spoke with reporters about what happened during a post-practice media session.

“No hard feelings,” Murray said of the fan’s actions. “If I see him, I’d shake his hand.”
Murray, who added that he doesn’t plan on shying away from celebrating with fans in the future, did add that he doesn’t feel players should be touched in such a manner but surmised that the fan’s enjoyment of the game led to him crossing the line.
Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury wasn’t exactly as forgiving as his team’s star quarterback, telling reporters on Sunday that “I think that guy’s a lowlife, whoever did it, and I hope they arrest him, he gets fired and can never go to another game.”

As far as a potential arrest, the police are still investigating the issue, according to the Associated Press.
Because the fan’s strike did not cause an apparent injury to Murray, he likely faces a charge of simple battery, if anything. Per the Las Vegas Defense Group, the fan would face up to six months in prison and $1,000 in fines if convicted.
