St. Louis’ defense, a unit that was expected to do big things this season, has finally started to live up to the preseason hype. They’ve collected a league-leading 18 sacks over the last four weeks while opponents have only scored 31 points during that span, including back-to-back shutouts and holding Peyton Manning and the Broncos to 7 points.

We expect their success to continue at home against a Cardinals team struggling offensively with injuries (RB Andre Ellington and QB Carson Palmer are on IR; WR Larry Fitzgerald is hampered by a knee sprain) and ineffectiveness. The Red Birds are on the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook props board for 17.5 points, and we’re looking at the UNDER.

Sporting News’ Fantasy Source staff ranks the Rams as their top defensive unit this week, so they’re also on the STL bandwagon.
