As with most anime series, you’ll have to watch Chainsaw Man on a specific streaming service. There are a wide variety of streaming platforms out there, and before you start flipping back and forth through your personal selection of them, you’ll likely want to know what service you actually need—paring down can be a good idea, after all.

Be sure to consult our rundown of how to stream Chainsaw Man, when to expect new episodes and a bundle of other informational tidbits below before you jump into the world of this exciting upcoming shonen series. It’s going to be dominating the anime series discussion this fall, so it’s a good idea to get in on the ground floor.

Here’s everything you need to know about streaming Chainsaw Man, where to stream it and more.

How and Where to Stream Chainsaw Man

There’s no special prerequisites or special add-ons to streaming platforms to watch Chainsaw Man. All you need are one of two main services:

CrunchyrollHulu

Both services are streaming Chainsaw Man this season, though it will only be available with Japanese audio and English subtitles for the time being. There is a dub coming, but there’s no release date set for when we can expect to hear protagonist Denji and the rest of the crew and their English voice actors just yet.

When Does Chainsaw Man Air?

The first episode of Chainsaw Man premiered on October 11 at noon ET. Crunchyroll has indicated that it will be publishing each episode as it airs in Japan. That means you can expect to see additional drops at noon ET on Tuesdays going forward, unless a new schedule is announced on the horizon with potential dub episodes. As it stands, the anime is currently only available to watch subbed.

How Many Episodes of Chainsaw Man Are There?

We’re looking at a short season for the first Chainsaw Man episode drop. There will be 12 episodes this season with weekly releases up through December. When that run is complete, we could be looking at a second season, but there’s no guarantee just yet.

There are 12 volumes of the manga, so there’s plenty of content from which the animated adaptation can draw. That means there’s no shortage of material to expand on, but it remains to be seen if the entirety of the manga will be converted to anime form. There’s no reason to believe it won’t at present since it’s such a popular title, but we can’t make any assumptions just yet. Once there’s a confirmed release date, we’ll be sure to update this article.

Chainsaw Man is available to stream now. New episodes will air every Tuesday on Crunchyroll and Hulu.
