The much-beleaguered former NBA star attended his first basketball game since being tossed out of Madison Square Garden and arrested two weeks ago. It was a Knicks game, too. It was just in his hometown of Cleveland, not at MSG in New York.

A demonstration in Pettiness 101? Perhaps. But by all accounts, it seems as though Oakley is still at odds with New York’s front office — specifically owner James Dolan — after his altercation with MSG security in early February.

Oakley’s presence couldn’t help the Knicks from getting trounced in Cleveland, as they fell to the defending NBA champs 119-104.
