Chase Cars To Carry Yellow Color Scheme During Playoffs

Once a driver is eliminated from the Chase, the yellow paint scheme will be removed from the car.

Under NASCAR’s new Chase format, which was implemented this year, the Chase will consist of 16 drivers who have either won races this year or are highest in points among non-winners. The 10-race Chase will feature three rounds, with four drivers eliminated after each three-race segment.

It will conclude with the final four drivers competing for the championship in the Nov. 16 season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
