From one growler to another, everyone’s favorite Wookiee has let the Panthers know he’s firmly on their side. Well, sort of.

Actor Peter Mayhew, best known for his portrayal of Chewbacca in the “Star Wars” films, tweeted a photo Saturday of him and woman wearing “Purrbacca” shirts sent to him by members of the 501st Legion, a “Star Wars” fan organization started by South Carolina residents in 1997.
The shirts were sold in December to raise money for The HEARTest Yard, a charity of Panthers tight end Greg Olsen. The effort raised $62,000.
Sorry, Broncos. The Wookiee says to let the Panthers win.
