The young duo earned their first call-ups after carrying some good form in the first half of 2014 into the Apertura championship.

The squad looks largely the same as it was for games last month against Chile and Bolivia, with the addition of 26-year-old Cruz Azul defender Julio Cesar Dominguez, who gets his first call-up under Herrera.

Atlas’ Enrique Perez also returns, while Oswaldo Alanis, Luis Venegas, Antonio Rios and Javier Orozco all hold their spots.

The foreign-based players involved are Javier Hernandez (Real Madrid), Guillermo Ochoa (Malaga), Hector Herrera (Porto), Javier Aquino (Rayo Vallecano) and Erick Torres (Chivas USA).

El Tri plays Honduras on Oct. 9 in Chiapas and Panama three days later in Queretaro.
