The Arizona Cardinals might be willing to see if Chris Cooley really can still play. A league source told ESPN that the Cardinals are interested in signing him even though Cooley hasn’t played since 2012. According to the New York Post, 72-year-old Shirlene Hernandez was headed into a Shell gas station in San Antonio when she was approached by a “robber” who took her car keys and hit her “several times in the face.” Though three men rushed to “tackle” the carjacker, he managed to flee the scene in Hernandez’s vehicle, said WVUE. Shortly after the attack, however, he was found dead inside the car, which he’d totaled in an interstate crash....

Jonesborough-resident Anna Stanton and her mother discovered the kitten off Interstate 26 in March after spotting a small pet carrier on the side of an off-ramp. “Something told us we needed to stop and check to see if there was an animal inside,” Stanton wrote on a GoFundMe page. “When we went to check we saw that there was something inside.” “We thought it was a cat but we were too scared to open the cage up....

The surveillance-camera footage, posted Thursday by a man in Surfside Beach, Texas, shows the wild animal lunging repeatedly at the feline on a deck. Clawing and hissing, the cat makes its way under a folding lounge chair against the deck’s railing, making it hard for the coyote to reach it. The coyote makes failed attempts to follow but continues to lunge at the cat. When the feline jumps onto the railing, the coyote briefly holds it in its mouth....

Veterinarian Jessica Thompson took to her TikTok account to show the transformation of former stray cat Marley, who was caught by a local cat trapper. Marley had matted fur so thick and heavy that it appeared to many he was carrying kittens on his back. “She brought him into the clinic and he was covered in matted fur and dreadlocks,” said Thompson in a video with over 700,000 views. J. Patrick Foley of Sacramento, California, claims that the Diocese promoted a “reckless disregard for the truth” in a September 12 filing with San Diego Superior Court. In 2018, Foley was one of eight men added to a list of Catholic clergy believed by the Diocese to be responsible for sexually abusing children. Foley’s lawsuit alleges that his inclusion on the list amounts to publishing “false and defamatory material.”...
