The clash between Cruz and Kennedy Stewart began this weekend when the mayor told protesters fighting government-mandated vaccines that the city doesn’t “want them” and to “make your point and go home.” The protests started last month when a group of truckers in Ottawa dubbed the “Freedom Convoy” began fighting a new requirement that drivers entering Canada must either be fully vaccinated or face testing and quarantine protocols. The protests have since expanded across the country, with thousands of Canadian citizens joining the cause to seek an end to all pandemic-related restrictions....
Arrests were being made and vehicles were being towed at the Ambassador Bridge linking Detroit and Windsor, Ontario, Windsor Police said on Twitter. “Enforcement will continue in the demonstration area and there will be zero tolerance for illegal activity. The public should avoid the area,” the police force added in another tweet. A group of protesters have been at the bridge since Monday, blocking what is usually Canada’s busiest border crossing....

The authors of the research letter published in the journal JAMA Oncology looked at the medical records of 1,524 cancer patients who had been admitted to the Department of Radiation and Medical Oncology at Zhongnan Hospital, at China’s Wuhan University, between December 30, 2019 and February 17, 2020. The team noted the outcomes of patients who also had COVID-19, and found three died. On average, the infected patients were 66-years-old....
Former GOP congressional candidate Klacik, 40, filed a $20 million lawsuit against Owens in July 2021, after the 32-year-old Candace host accused her of fraud, drug use and working as a “madame” at a strip club.
